According to a new source, the next installment in the Doom series will be referred to as Doom: The Dark Ages, and it will be presented at the Xbox Games Showcase in the month of June.

The allegation, which comes from Insider Gaming and has not been verified, asserts that this new Doom game has been in the works for four years and that it would take place in a 'medieval-inspired doom world.' Speculations of a sequel to Doom Eternal have been circulating for a considerable amount of time. At the beginning of this month, it was discovered that Bethesda had registered the name of the iconic Doom cheat known as 'IDKFA.'
