Elden Ring's New Weapon Types Provides Players with the Option to Engage in Anime Combat
In the critically acclaimed video game Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware, a new weapon is providing players with the option to engage in combat similar to those of characters from an action-packed martial arts anime. Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree, the first and last expansion for the role-playing game, was made available for purchase on June 21.
Not only does Shadow of the Erdtree provide players with more armor sets and weaponry, but it also introduces a massive new location known as the Land of Shadow. The new expansion also includes a storyline that revolves around mysterious characters, the most intriguing of which is Miquella the Kind. The expansion includes eight new types of weapons, one of which is Hand-to-Hand Arts, allowing players to battle in a manner similar to that of anime characters.
The new Shadow of the Erdtree weaponry push the envelope farther, lifting Elden Ring above the Soulsborne series. A user recently showcased their character executing an anime-style battle move against an adversary, made possible by the Dryleaf Arts included in the new DLC.
Elden Ring, Dryleaf Arts, and Dane's Footwork are all examples of new hand-to-hand arts introduced in the game's latest expansion, inviting players to experience unique and exciting combat.
