Nezuko, the Demon Slayer, now has a Pokemon team thanks to the brilliant artwork of Pokemon.

A fantastic piece of fan art that was recently uploaded to the internet features the protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Nezuko Kamado, collaborating with a number of characters from the Pokemon franchise, which is owned by Game Freak. In their respective countries of origin, Japan, the franchises of Demon Slayer and Pokemon are currently among the most successful in the world respectively.

The manga series Demon Slayer, written by Koyoharu Gotouge, is one of the most successful mangas ever published, and as a result of its widespread popularity, several of the characters in the series have become icons in Japanese media. Nezuko, the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado, the primary protagonist of the novel, is one of them. At the beginning of the story, Nezuko is transformed into a demon. Nezuko gained an incredible amount of strength as a result of the metamorphosis, and a particular artist has drawn this upgraded version of her standing alongside a number of well-known characters from the Pokemon series.

A user by the name of xthememoryshopx recently uploaded a sketch to the Pokemon subreddit in which they depicted Nezuko, the Demon Slayer, forming a team with Alakazam, Cubone, Gastly, Gengar, Haunter, and Mimikyu. A similar artwork showing Zenitsu Agatsuma, who is considered by some to be one of Demon Slayer's best written characters, was drawn by xthememoryshopx in the past. The art was utilized for a custom Pokemon card, according to xthememoryshopx, who also contributed to the drawing of the piece. Zenitsu is a skilled swordsman who is capable of employing tremendous Thunder Breathing Techniques, despite the fact that he is a comic relief character.

Along the same lines as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Pokemon was also one of the media brands that sold the most copies in Japan in the year 2023. In 2025, Game Freak is planning to release Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which will be the next mainstream chapter in the monster tamer franchise that has been ongoing for a very long time.
