A Pokemon fan has shared their idea for a Mega Toucannon. One of the Pokemon fans came up with the idea of a Mega Evolution for the Normal/Flying-type Toucannon and then posted it on the internet. There are presently 48 Mega Evolutions in the Pokemon series. Thirty of these Mega Evolutions were introduced when the mechanism was first introduced in the Generation 6 entries, Pokemon X and Y. The remaining Mega Evolutions were added through the remakes of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire that were released in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS family of handheld device systems.

The appearance of a character can be altered, their statistics can be improved, and they can acquire new abilities through the use of Mega Evolutions, which are temporary transformations. Some of the most well-known monsters in Pokemon, such as Lucario, Mewtwo, and Charizard, are among those that have the ability to Mega Evolve. In fact, the latter two even have two Mega forms of their own. As a result of the fact that Game Freak's long-running RPG series already has more than one thousand Pokemon, it should not come as a surprise that some fans have developed their own Mega Evolutions for the monsters that do not officially have access to such transformations.

One of the other original designs created by Just-Drawing-Mons is a Mega Evolution of Skarmory, which is a Steel/Flying-type Pokemon that was originally introduced in the second generation of Pokemon. In addition to the creation of unique Mega forms, the user on Reddit has also given several characters fascinating redesigns. A good example of this is the Fighting-type version of Alakazam that was created by Just-Drawing-Mons. Alakazam is widely regarded as the most powerful Psychic-type Pokemon among the first 151 monsters included to the series.

Dragonite, which is considered to be one of the most powerful non-legendary monsters from the first generation, as well as the starters from Generation 6, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie, as well as Flygon, are among the Pokemon that fans would like to see to receive a Mega Evolution in the next major entry of the series. Despite the fact that the latter was planned to gain a Mega form in Pokemon X and Y, the development team was unable to finish the design, according to Ken Sugimori, who is the chief character designer for the Pokemon franchise.
